WestCOP Benefit Enrollment Center

WestCOP’s Benefits Enrollment Center (BEC) is part of the National Council on Aging (NCOA) network dedicated to helping low-income, Medicare-eligible seniors and persons with disabilities to identify and apply for benefits programs. WestCOP’s BEC provides help to eligible residents in Westchester and Putnam counties for the following 5 Core Benefits (but not limited to):

  • Medicare Part D Extra Help/Low-Income Subsidy
  • Medicaid Savings Programs
  • Medicaid
  • SNAP
  • LIHEAP: Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program

We use web-based and virtual tools to assist low-income seniors and persons with disabilities find and enroll in all the benefits programs for which they are eligible, and create coordinated, community-wide systems of benefits access.
