Westchester Historical SocietyStories about the people and events that have shaped the history of Westchester County come alive at the Westchester County Historical Society. This extensive collection of local history and genealogy covers the county’s development from the first Dutch settlers in Yonkers to corporate settlers on the White Plains corridor.
The Reading Room of the Westchester County Historical Society and the Westchester County Archives is open by appointment only one day a week, on Wednesdays, with two sessions: from 9:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm-3:30pm, until further notice.
